cool I like the idea of the galaxy warp nacelles.
though i think the pylons should be a bit closer to the shuttle bay

the nacelles start at the tmp connies points. I thought about adding them to the rear but A, the ship is still connie size so the internal workings would fill the shuttle bay and B, the nacelles would have to be a lot lower with galaxy style pylons. I want to preserve the connies profile as much as possible.

Smoothing errors and asymmetrical, but a very nice start.

well I have to redo the saucer asI forgot to save it before rendering pics and I reloaded it from the save file. Still have nacelles but everything else standard connie

I think the neck ought to be thicker. I think they would've realized the design flaw by this era and at least tried to reinforce it for the Dominion War.

i agree on the neck needs to be thicker also im not too keen on the pylons and nacelles perhaps build new ones that have a resemblence to the connies TMP engines but with a warp around grilles at the aft

I quite like it. I'm not too fond of the shape of the saucer or the nacelles though.. the saucer is just too flat on the top, and the nacelles just don't fit in. Sovereign-style nacelles might look nice, if you modified them to be a little less fat.

reworked the saucer and neck

Widen the base of the neck too, a few well placed torpedoes could still lay waste to it. Also, those nacelles look huge.

The saucer looks a bit nicer now. (Though personally I'd prefer it to be curved more, less flat)

Great work though, looking forward to being able to use this in BC. =D

reduced the width of the nacelles. modified the torp bay, added aft tube. I don't want to change the shape much more. The neck is how I want it now as I never  have been a fan of the thick necked ships , lets say she has triple layer shielding here

wow, still dont like that neck but everything else is very nice.
it's not how thick it is /or not but rather the shape you can see in the second pic of your last post. front view looks really nice, but the aft view looks a bit strange to me...

the neck is based on the galaxy class neck

maybe./obviously
but it looks strange on this ship at least for me.
but hey, I think I can get used to it

How about mayber adding a small impulse engine to the base of the neck, it may balance it out a liitle, proportionaly speaking, that is.

One thing there that is still well out of place are the nacelle struts. Just move the part that meets the sec hull aft about to halfway between how it is now and the shuttle bay.

Now that you pull the neck out, it looks even weaker. Just hit the torpedo stores and *BOOM* instant saucer separation.

your mesh overall is looking a lot better.

Right several comments that need addressing: -
Now that you pull the neck out, it looks even weaker. Just hit the torpedo stores and *BOOM* instant saucer separation.

The neck is in it's final shape. I don't want a fat neck on her.

How about mayber adding a small impulse engine to the base of the neck, it may balance it out a liitle, proportionaly speaking, that is.

There are two giant impulse engines just above the neck so one at the base would be alittle over kill, also there is a torp launch there.

One thing there that is still well out of place are the nacelle struts. Just move the part that meets the sec hull aft about to halfway between how it is now and the shuttle bay.

I want it to retain as much of the connie silhouette as possible. The neck has got longer and sits between the pylons. Moving them further back would make it resemble a galaxy or interpid class thus destroying the over all look.

your mesh overall is looking a lot better.

Thank you.

I don't want to sound like a knob and I do appreciate your comments. I look at them and see if it is something I've missed or not. I do have a clear vison of what I want to see (I am pretty happy with the general look), so that maybe why I seem reluctant to change all this suggestions.

That's fine, it's your ship, make it how you want it and have fun while doing it.
