Yer well now i can actually model *lol* i've decided to go back and redo one of my babys
now she's still a work in progress so hold up on this one guys im really happy with the improvements on the nacels and impulse engines so, i'd like other peoples opinions too :p
So far only 3165 polys i mean WOW thats low - DETALE TIME!!! lol

I love this design. 8) I've always wanted to play Legacy, but I've never gotten around to getting it, not to mention my rig sucks. :P

awsome. I need more enmies for the tos mod. This would go perfect with the ring drive concept I got from Kthyla at KA. if you're looking for more tos roms to build (or remake in high detail) I got some ideas.

Aaargh, wanna have! :D Thou it looks a bit overpowered. I for myself would cut of either some of the Hull cannons or the Bow/head Cannons. ... I think the second one, but that's just me. Really like it otherwise.

ha ha ha, after fighting it out on my warp nacel's i think i got them how i want, finally onto the neck and head, shes nearly done boys

Finally! Perfect TOS romulan nacelles. They look awesome. They would look equally as awesome on another well known TOS romulan ship *NUDGE* NUDGE* *WINK* *WINK* *HINT* *HINT* 8)

However, I think you should make an alternate version with more Romulan looking nacelles. These look too Federation-y, like many of the ships in TOS.
Yes, I know the First Federation's Fesarius and the Doomsday Machine. Shut up. :P

Ah. Saying "make them more Romulan" when they're striving for accuracy isn't the best thing to say. But how can you make TOS Nacelles look more Romulan? We've never really seen much in the way of TOS Romulan ships or even TMP ones. And you barely notice they have anything approaching nacelles in TNG-ST-VIII onwards. Just green curves and lights.

No can do on them changes bro, coz the back is hollowed out like u asked, and also if u watch the show the buzzards are red not blue, i had some real tos inside help on this one, i can promise you she is the most cannon out there

Those are screenshots from the episode in question. Okay so they aren't high res, but on the ones with the bussards seen, they are clearly not red.

Billz is right, the Romulan Bird of Prey did have blue bussard collectors. Pale blue, but blue none the less. ;)
I like this ship! While's it's mostly a fairly simple kitbash, it just seems to go together well. Plus, your texturing job is pretty nice, especially the bird on the belly.

on another note, i can most deffently be 100% possative that the BOP has red buzzards well oringe or red one of the two, this comes from a sorce that know's TOS personal a 1 Derek Chester, and 2 look at all the other media, toys pictures models Red not blue red.

No. They are blue. I have seen the episode enough times to know that for sure.
And Derek Chester only wrote 4 games, 2 of which dont have a TOS romulan BOP. I don't remember whether Legacy or Tactical Assault have them, but if they did, then Derek Chester had nothing to do with how they were designed for those games meaning the games were wrong. We've seen enough evidence of that with the stock Legacy version of the Galaxy class.

Can we keep Legacy out of this and focus on the ship? I personally won't mind whether the bussards are blue or red.

C'mon....is it really that important what color these bussards are? If Phoenix says he wants them pink, he can make 'em pink. And you can still change the color easily yourself, when you download the mod.

They have a point, changing bussard colors is fairly easy, so I don't think it matters. They both look f'ing awesome.

Ehm...as I know Phoenix it will be included in UUM (surprise :shock:) and maybe ported to BC...I'm not sure whether he can even do that himself, so let's say what he says on that.

Well the bird of prey i think i should redo, as im a 1000 x better at everything i do than i was back then, as that was my first completed legacy model, i think maybe i should ask a admin to clean the thread, even if i am half to blame for it lol. the battle bird is nearly finished probably 2 more weeks then i'll start on the BOP as im working on the Strider's Textures. i got a few ideas for some more romulans, i can't explain it i hate the rommies, but im really into designing their ships at the moment lol. i want to do a modified veriant of the klingon bop with a romulan bird on the bottom, but with somthing diffrent, dunno wat but it's somthing i wanna do lol ok more pics in next couple of day's, been really ill so no work on her today

It's a cool ship, I like what you have done with the design.
Not knowing legacy I would guess this ship is an upgrade of the older warbird? If so being a stubborn old TOS head I can at least justify in my head the removal of the old plasma launcher, rework of the structure and installation of the boom to make the ship viable for many extra years.
If it isn't an upgrade well, I still likes it and pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
