 :arms: ok got the damn hump now! lol i'm trying so darn hard with the connie hull and am not getting anywhere. Please could some one give me some info on building the hull with the shuttle bay area, now i've used the scifi-art one and it hasnt gotten me anywhere, i can't get the shape to sit right. please can some one lend me a hand??  :arms:

This is the way I did it for my refit connie.

I started off with a cylinder with at least 30 polys round 1 segment high. Convert to Poly and scale to fit the hull just shot of the hanger doorframe Switch to segment and pull out at least 5 segments to form the tail landing deck area.

Switch to verts and scale them into a round shape (collapse the last verts together to join hull).

Select Segments and extrude the top section forming the doorframe, keep switching to verts to fine tune the shape and collapse intersecting verts as you go.

This is time consuming to get right.

When you are happy with the hanger doorway you can move on to the under hull curve.

I create a spline line in the shape for the under hull curve and extrude that to form a block covering the section I want to cut. I the Boolean cut the mesh convert back to a poly and smooth collapsing ant verts that are causing mesh errors.

ah, when i was doing it i was cutting around the the area where the main hull curves first,maybe that'll be my mistake! thanks bazz
