I need help, this is what I get with the console report.
-
there is a problem with the file NebulaVar1Refit.py, you might want to redo that script in BCUT
also, it doesn't recognize the command Console Report, all you need to do to pull up a report is open the console and hit enter
-
Just change NebulaDef to FedShipDef and you should be set. This isn't a modded BC Super3 install is it?
-
Nope and it's from the Nebula pack that on filefront, with all the varients.
-
What nebula pack??
I know of a few...
-
Um... it's all in one menu and there's like 12 different variants or something.
-
Bleh, it now says it's all messed up, like the slipstream framework and what not. Wait..do I need to patch this?
-
patch what?
-
Um... it's all in one menu and there's like 12 different variants or something.
That's hardly a detailed description. The readme ought to tell you which one it is. ;)
-
I believe he is talking about CR's Nebula Pack which is here (http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/CR_Nebula_Pack;70908).
If there's another pack, I demand to know lol. :P
-
patch what?
Like the original game to 1.1
-
you always need to do that....
-
Okay, got it to work, now when I get into game, the mutator list wont scroll, then it says "TEST ONLY" where the quick battle button should be.
-
it says "TEST ONLY" where the quick battle button should be.
That's what it should say if you are in Test Mode.
-
Okay, so if I remove test mode. It should help it? Lol.
-
uh I don't think so....
I'd do what Kirk said way up there^^
-
Okay, so if I remove test mode. It should help it?
No. Not at all. I never run my install outside of Test Mode. It's too vital of a tool for BC. Neb may know how to change the text on the QB/Test Only button (you guys did it in KM.) Is the name really that big of a deal? You can still access QB, and now more.
Ok, moving on. You say the mutator menu doesn't scroll anymore. I'm not certain what files the patch replaces, but the fact that you decided to patch the game after you started modding it may have had some effect on that. (Mleo, please confirm/correct.)
For the future, when making a new install always patch the game, after installation and before adding any modifications (this includes the Foundation.)

Alright, I hate how filefront done the downloads and what not, so this is going to take ages to reinstall. I hope someone has all the ships and everything zipped up in one huge batch file for me to download lol.
