Title: Galaxy Class Mod Pack v.2.0 **Released**

This is one pack I really wanted to have updated....

This project is a visual update of the previous pack. Being one of BlackElm Production's most popular downloads. Most of the work for this pack have already been done. I just cut and paste the subsystems to the new CEGalaxy model made by Capt Elgy. I choose this model because it's the most RDF/RAF friendly with the Galaxy Charts v.2.0 Mod. The pack will include the following ships...

What is improved?

The registries are canon size. going by my ERTL model. My registry techniques makes them look more crisp in game. Also added some canon music scores for each of the sister ships during MVAM separation. Each ship will have the same canon HP as the original pack. While each sister ship will be unique in it's over all abilities and performance in-game.

but now i have a big problem. everytime i start quickbattle, it goes to saffy as usual, but after 1 second everything crashes straight to the desktop, without the chance to get a console report ...  :arms:

Meh, I'm going to have to pull the pack from circulation. I suggest you download the CEVenture from BCF. And place a copy of the GalaxyRefit Saucer & Stardrive.NIF in the Venture, Magellan, Trinculo, Challenger & SanFrancisco folders.

Yeah i reported my report in the support forum.

But it did work before i installed it. so maybe its getting in a conflict with something, but on the console report there was no indication of a conflict between your pack and the rest of my installment... well ill just wait for MLeo.

But anyway, you did a marvellous job so far. from what i can tell of your previous packs it will be a good one!

I wanted to say that the same thing happens to me as well, but when I try to run any of the single-player missions. I don't really have a huge amount of other mods installed, just really Kobayashi Maru.

KM1 isnt meant to play Single Player missions...  you'd need to have all the mutators turned off; thats prolly youre getting the crash rather than this Galaxy Pack...

I got the same problem in QB - I still do, even though I removed the pack to find out if it was what's causing the problem. I get to Saffi, I click "Quick Battle Setup" and bam, crash to desktop.

Really? Because it usually works fine on Single Player, or at least a lot better than when I used to have a mish-mash of various mods. Granted, it does still cause the odd problem but as I already said it works a lot better than it used to.

put it this way...  many many people have reported problems with SP when having all the mutators on and all mods enabled...  some mods do conflict with SP, while some can work perfectly fine through the entire campaign...  no one has really ever gone through testing each mod one by one through the campaign to determine which ones will work just fine and which ones will not; that would take a while and many times playing through the campaign beginning to end lol
the general reply is to just have them all turned off...


anyway, to go back ontopic, BR is fixing whatever problems may be with his pack and will no doubt rerelease it whenever he can...  there is a temporary fix, which has been mentioned in the meantime...

That didnt work really... and now that it is on bcfiles, i downloaded that one again, installed it over, and the problem still occurs. I really cant reproduce my bc installment, because its hours of individual modding in it. im really sad if there is no fix for that problem. lets just hope br32 will find a cure for it. would be damn sad if not

To fix your install till BR figures out how to make it work, delete the plugins. That usually solves any problem I have when it comes to ships messing up my BC install.
