Title: Supermod 3.0 Graphical Bug?
Post by: Orion Kirk on November 21, 2009, 09:33:06 PM
Hello all! I am new to the star trek gaming world, and while I'm eagerly awaiting Star Trek Online, I decided to purchase Star Trek Bridge Commander.

I installed it twice, one for Single Player and one for the KB mod.

The KB version works flawlessly for the multiplayer it is for, the mod works perfect.

I have Supermod 3.0 for my SP version, and when I look at my ship from the 3rd person prespective, some of the polys flicker, and some pieces of the ship are just missing.

I use Windows 7, and run the game in admin mode.

I have a Intel 2 Dual Core 3.0ghz, 4MB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX285 so the card isn't the issue, i doubt it's having to use a quarter of it's power to run this game at the specs it is designed for with this mod ( I hear it was a resource eater at one point).

What would be causing this graphical bug? Is it just a glitch, and should i just try to reload and play again? From the begininning?

try deleting the VOX files in data/models/ships/shipfolders

I actually have the same issue, deleting the vox files didn't work for me.

My rig is:
Vista 32 bit
2.3ghz dual core processor
256mb, nvidia 8300GS graphics card (yeah I know, crap)
2GB RAM

I think it's just a bug with supermod... it is supposed to be chock-a-block with them.
