Title: Turning off lucky shots?
Post by: MachAlert on November 28, 2009, 08:46:39 PM
I seem to recall that one of my previous installations of BC had a menu option that allowed you to turn off the script that allows random "lucky" shots (usually torpedoes) to fire through near full-strength shields.  I don't see it anywhere in my current KM1.0 install, and I can't find any mods that will turn that off, so I'm just going to change the necessary script file myself...  Except I can't find it anywhere.  Do you guys know what I'm talking about?

Nope, it's a game glitch. I know of it well.

I think the last one who tried to remove/ fix this glitch was DKealt, for his Stargate pack. But i don't know how far he got with that.

I remember it always happening in stock 1.1. The first volley of torpedoes almost always went right through the shields.
