I have recently tried lukerobin's tutorial for getting Bridge Commander in widescreen mode without any stretching, and I have found that only 1280,720 (16:9) and 1280,728 (16:10) work for the game, I have no problem with that......
however even though the ships are not stretched, nor is the menu, the Bridge of all ships ARE stretched..... I was wondering if there is any way of making it so that the bridges are not stretched...

uhm, i dont have that problem and im playing in 1280 x 800

I never got the widescreen to work. Things were mostly the right res but I got loads of errors (with nanofx i think) trying to run the game

do you remember exactly what you did?
which operating system do you have?
what specs is your comp?
it may help me in some way.....thank you
just to make sure that i said it properly in the beginning, only the bridges are stretched when i play widescreen, the ship are fine..

the newest KM version supports (some) widescreen resolutions... i think 1440x900, 1680x1080, 1366x768, and 1680x900... i am sure more are in the works for the next version of KM...
if there is a specific resolution you need, im sure posting the request at the KM forums wouldnt hurt...

There is no problem with the resolution 720p is good, it's just that the bridges are stretched at this resolution, the ships look fine.....

If I'm not totally mistaken the bridge stretching appears in every widescreen mod. AFAIK even the one used in KM.
