Title: Ambiguity 2 - Form Builder for BC - Alpha
Post by: Banbury on July 06, 2010, 03:13:21 PM
Hi,
I finally managed to finish the development of my Form Builder library for BC. It took much longer than expected. After my last post on this forum, I took a new job, which kept me quite busy.

But here it is: Version 1.0 of Ambiguity 2

Ambiguity 2 is a library built on top of the old Ambiguity. It's a class library that mimicks parts of the .NET GUI Framework. Forms are created in the Python Form Builder of SharpDevelop (http://www.icsharpcode.net/opensource/sd/). The resulting Python files are usable with only minor changes in BC.
I hope that this will make creating GUIs in BC much easier and less painful. I only wish I had had it, when I created the GUI for QuickBattle Replacement  :).

Warning (imagine the voice of Majel Barret here)
This is Alpha software and nearly untestet. The documentation is appalling. But I wanted to get this out, before another decade has passed  :P.
If you are interested in becoming a Beta tester, I would be very happy. The e-Mail address is in the ReadMe.

Comments - good or critical - are also welcome. Many comments also raise the chance for new Versions of Ambiguity 2 in the future.

Greetings

Banbury

YOU NEED TO POST THIS OVER AT http://bcs-tng.com/forums/  = Bridge Commander Scripters; that's where most of the scripters hang out now!
