This was a request from Starforce2 back in Feburary. This ship is from the 3D series http://www.auroratrek.com.
-
Ah, I see you like her tooooo
-

you bet me to it, i was thinking about doing this one, the 3D series is great, well the ship looks great, cant wait to start running cargo around
-
don't forget to armer her withs some visible weapons. This ship's history was a armored romulan war era gunship I believe. It has armored hatches over the bussard and nav dish that may look cool if you have the time to model and texture those in. This ship looks great and just curious, whats the poly?

Yep, that's why she could run cargo thru, that dangerous nebula.

Very nice.
Great series.
-
are you doing the romulan war version, the specs are in the downloads section of the site
-
I'm not entirely sure whether I like this starship or not...I dunno, I'm kinda particular to the original SS Aurora from Charlie X...you know, the one made from the Tholian ship. I will check out the series though.
-
She look great buddy!!
-
some one should do the romulan ship that was seen in episode one...i watched all 4 posted episodes...i love how shes on an alternate universe USS Yorktown...but which reality is the right one? the one wheres shes the captain of the aurora? or where shes a starfleet ensign?? hmmmm...question marks galore!! But on the aurora...shes looks perfect..keep it up!!!

A great series, would highly recommend it.
I would vote for the war version as well, would make a nice ship pack.
Looks like you got her spot on so far, great work
-
Here is the S.S. Aurora in-game
-
im not much a fan of any TOS ships personally, but your modeling/texturing/everything-for-making-BC-ships skills are very amazing :)
(id love to see your take on TNG/DS9/Voy-era ships ;))
please keep it up!! :D

Looks great but needs some windows :)
-
JimmyB, thank you, I appreciate the compliment. I figure eventually I'll graduate to the 24th century.
Moed, the ship in the series does not have any windows.
-
I look forward to your graduation.
-
Nice job
-
thumbs up from me :hurr:
-
I never thought I would see this in BC. Can't wait to take her for a spin! :)
-
I'm glad someone finally figured out that somke of the ships I'd like to see done also might be liked by others :funny
Anyways, that was not only fast but looks great too. I hope you do more, especially TOS. There's her childhood ship that her family run that'd look nice too, if you're interested in doing other stuff from the series. I should check in with him to see if he's done another ep release.

Great job, GMunoz! Starforce2 gave me the heads up that you had created a BC version of Aurora, and I have to say that you totally nailed it--your mesh may even be an improvement on the one I'm using--it certainly looks cleaner! Thanks so much for taking the time and effort to make such a perfect replica--it's extremely gratifying, not to mention extremely cool to think of Aurora breaking in the BC universe.
(And to those with a sense of ship aesthetics, my apologies for Aurora's design: as her own captain says in Part 4 of the show: "She's not pretty, but she's tough.") ;)
Thanks again to GMunoz, and Starforce 2, and to all who have checked out the show.

Tim,
thank you for your gracious comments. I would like to thank you for your efforts on the Aurora Trek, I think it is an outstanding story and the graphivs work is stellar. I look forward to the next installment.
-
congratulations, Mister Vining. you're one of the few people that have made your trek dream come to life. if I could model, i'd have a couple of my own out. look foreward to part five when it's ready.
-
Thanks! I'm working on Part 5 (the final part) now.

Hey Tim... this is Moe. We've corresponded for quite a while on your outstanding series!
Welcome to the best Star Trek forum around!
-
Thanks, Moe! Glad to be here.
Yes, you, along with Starforce2, are definitely among Aurora's longest (suffering?) fans--thanks for sticking with it all these years! I appreciate your feedback, and your inclusion in BC. Hang in just a little longer--only one more part to go!
