I'm new to this game and I had a question about putting new ships into the game.If u add ships can they be used in multiplayer?

you have to change mp files to get them to work properly in MP and the people you play against have to have the same setup.

Aight I downloaded Species 8472 Biopack (2.0). I moved the files into my BC folder and merged the scripts and data folders toghether. When I went in game and hosted in multiplayer only the original ships were there. Can anyone give me instructions on how I can get that file to work?

aight I have tryed just moving the files and making plugins using mod packager but when I go in game the new custom ships still don't appear.

have you turned on the mutators for QB? also have you not read what I said? You can't just simply add ships like that... you also need to modify the MP scripts if you want to play this with someone over the net or lan.

did you install the foundation first of all?

now load BC then go into the bc config menu and look for a button that says mutators.

By mod packager you mean BCUT right? Otherwise you'll have problems if you use BCMP/BCMI.

ok so I got the ships to work in QB, but now when I try to go in to multiplayer it crashes

ya know... I think your best bet is just to get KM beta 1.1
