Title: BCS:TB, targetable plasma streams, the problem that Knots my train of thought

okay, i'm here in technical support because i'm having a problem with NanoFX 2.0 Beta

i installed BCS the Beginning as part of the Larger plan of the Bridge Commander Galactic Renaissance Mod

anyways at first after i installed ships it began crashing, so this time i'd decided to install the submods first, then handle the ships,

what does that have to do with TPS and NanoFX, here is the point

every time i fire at a Plasma stream with a Stock Ship, the Game crashes altogether.

any insight on this would be very helpful as this is one problem i don't want to come back to.

I'd say that the crash is caused due to NanoFX ExplosionFX which is also largely patched in Kobayashi Maru for example.

Is there any specific problem in explosionFX?

Like scripting?

Or is it a targa problem

I suspect it's the first.

that explains a lot of why I couldn't get it to work, and why there's no plasma explosions in KM.  they musta trimmed the fat.
don't forget, CDR, that nano is technically still a beta.  the creator moved on before tweaking it to anything near alpha

KCS it's alpha then beta... beta would be the last build before final.

Also targeting plasma trails and plasma explosions still work in KM.
Remember only hits by torps will cause the nacelles to leak the plasma.

Yeah it doesn't like small exploding objects.

You comment out the lines which define TPS.

okay, should i Delete the TPS Mutator in scripts\custom\autoload

or what should i do?

As I said disable the code wherever the logic is located, it's been 4-5 years since I last time took a look at BCS:TB and currently I neither have BCS:TB with me or remember the specifics.
