Aren't you guys still planning on a new mesh sometime down the road for the actual DQ pack?
Prommie is fantastic looking. And I took it up against the old Prommie, started to look pretty even...up until I used MVAM. Then it was finished in less than a minute. lol

It wont be for the DQP now with limey being so busy.
Might be in a Federation Pack if we ever get time along with Voyager.

Now in the DQP thread you stated that the wrong HP was uploaded for the Akira (the torpedo pulse problem) and if we had any more questions/requests regarding getting the fixed HP to place them in this thread... so here it is... :D

Tried out the new HP Jb and it worked out GREAT! Love the Akria and can't wait for the DQ pack to come out!

Thanks for the new Nova and Akira - finally able to replace existing models.
Not sure if I was only one to get this, but the Nova initially had some texture problems in game where the spine, pylons and sec hull showed up pale. Basically they were missing alpha channels but once I fixed looked beautiful, esp the new glows. EDIT: alpha channel problem NOT with initial download but occurred when resized texture TGAs.
And made new registries for Equinox and Rhode Island (as well as Thunderchild akira) so if anyone asks...

Could you maybe upload those fixes for the texture problems? Then the rest of us that either don't know how to fix it or don't have the time can benefit from your improvements.

With jb's permission, be more than happy to release registry changes: USS Equinox and USS Rhode Island for Nova, and USS Thunderchild for Akira. With caveat I've halved texture sizes (I find 2048 textures make no difference and just slow down things) and made minor changes.
EDIT: added pic of JLS Nova with changed USS Equinox reg.

Is there an updated Prometheus hardpoint file that I need?
I've finally managed to get a chance to play with the new Prommie, and while it does look great, the hardpoints themselves seem to not make much sense. For example, torpedos are firing from the very tip of the triangular saucer section, when there is no pyhsical torpedo tube modeled.
Another issue is that the phaser and torpedo sounds didn't work. This was an easy fix, but I found it odd that I was the only one having an issue with the sound effects. The torpedo placement thing, is just odd.

I agree with you about the textures sizes. I have a pretty beefy system but 2048 (except for close-in screenshots) don't really add anything to the game except slow-down. Nice to have them as extras though.

I don't know why you have had any problems Lurok, you shouldn't have needed to make an alpha channel on some as they are redundant, that's what the LM textures for. Still looks like you have problems on the nacelles.

Can you say specifically what problem on nacelles? glows not bright enough? I can fix that easily.
EDIT: ignore above. Found nacelle problem and fixed. And owe apology as seems alpha problem wasn't with initial download but occurred during tga resizing. Anyway all fixed now...

Nope that's on back burner if I recall. Only major mod coming out is the delta quadrant pack before jb06's retirement

Limey may still be working on it, I don't know! I just know JB06 is stepping down after the DQP is released.

The two stargate bridges which are in Limey's sig will be released by BR32 soon. They are done, he's just finishing off the little bits. ;)
