Hey everyone.
A small, quite annoying problem has hit me, I've been playing BC for old times sake, and I want to mod it so i tried installing the 1.1 patch but every time I do, it says the BC Directory wasn't found and it then quits.
Any help would be appreciated.

have you installed BC or are you playing off of just a copied folder?
-
I've installed it but I am using wineskin which means its on a mac.. is there any way of going around the normal patch so i can start modding the game?

that might be the problem right there. i believe BC has an actuall mac version on the disk? i haven't looked (mine was paperworkless)

Its alright, i cheated :P KM comes with foundation and all so I installed it without the patch and it seems to work :D

cant guarantee a stable install if you dump mods onto it...

But you still don't have 1.1 patch. You could try a program for windows called Universal Extractor and extract the contents of the installer executable to your hard drive. When unpacked the filenames will be funny and both resources will be extracted (English and German languages) so you will have to manually check every file and give it proper name (extension will probably be messed up) and copy it to your game.

KM is working, as well as several other mods that I've added :dance
But ill try the latter option as well just in case :) thanks for the help guys

Ofcourse to do that you'll have to completely start over from scratch unless you planned ahead and already have a clean install(which you should have anyways).

I've got two back up's just in case :)
