Title: Stargazer Class WIP
Post by: Maxloef on April 30, 2011, 11:34:44 AM
Here's a new WIP of mine, the Stargazer class based on the design from STO.
not completely satisfied with it yet want to change some things with the nacelles.

Not a fan of the Stargazer Class from STO, but the mesh looks phenomenal.

Since some of us are making ST:O ships, we are able to add considerably more detail than the original game.

Looks very Interesting. Not a fan of STO either but this looks pretty damn decent.

Oh no no no no...I LOVE STO, I just don't like Cryptic's "original" designs (sorry for the thread jacking!)

Quick pictureless update

Model is now split in half for texturing (using mirroring) its so far all one unified mesh with exception to nacelles, will probably use one or two 2048 by 2048 textures.
Changed around the pylons and nacelles a bit to fit the design more.

I definitely like your nacelle design better Max, looks more appropriate than the ones Cryptic designed.

Very nice.  Really like how she's coming out.

Reminiscent of the U.S.S. Upholder, the revamped P81 Alita Class by Queball.

Still one of the "Golden Oldies" in my install.

I'm sorry to say that as soon as you post this, I'm taking out those bottom two nacelles and hotrodding this beauty!  Unless of course, you want to do that yourself . . .

Awesome work so far! :dance
