Worked when I first installed it, then I altered options.cfg to make my gme 1680 x 1050 and the numbers arent correct anymore. Anyone have any advice? Should I alter the font sizes also cuz i stopped at making the game 1680 x 1050 resolution as opposed to fixing the font size (I dont mind small font).

Delete your options.cfg and you should be fine (the game will generate a new one when you start BC). The options.cfg file rarely (if ever) needs to be altered, so it's not a good idea to go playing around with it.

If I do that, my game will no longer be 1680 x 1050...

the latest version of KM has widescreen support for that resolution... at this time, thats the only way you can have a fixed widescreen res...

So I need to dload another shield status mod then... ok. Thanks for your help guys!

I'm afraid you're mistaken there. KM handles those widescreen resolutions in a somewhat different way than standard resolutions - hence why they're under the "Additional resolutions" option under "Graphics" instead of the standard "Resolution" menu.

Not at all. Just delete the "options.cfg" and use the 1680x1050 option under "Additional Resolutions" instead of playing with the new "options.cfg" file and you should be fine. Your shield status will appear the way it's supposed to if you do what Jimmy and I have suggested and you'll have the resolution you want. :)

Mmm, except that I don't want to dload KM. I run my own custom BC. =)
Thanks anyways though!

If you realy don'T want to DL the new KM you could try the attached script.
It also goes into the QBautostart folder.
I made it a while ago, before the new KM came out, so I don't realy know if it was adjusted for my Resolution or if it works with every other one as well.
Maybe you'd have to alter iNewBase_Y - Modifier
