Title: Some problems I am having
Post by: Shadow91 on August 11, 2011, 11:58:43 PM
Can someone please help me. I tried surching for a similiar problem but could not find one.
Okay here is the problem. I had to do a re install of Bridge Commander on my computer due to my main install,(C:Program Files/Activision/Bridge Commander)  occasionally giving me a the command prompt during gameplay resulting in a CTD. Or when I go to exit the game, getting either "STBC has stopped working"  or the command prompt when clicking "abort mission" resulting in CTD. The game runs fine otherwise and the Nova class bridge works like a charm. But now that I re-installed (C:STBC), Safi sits right behind the Captains chair instead of in her chair reuslting as soon as I look at where she is, a CTD on the Nova Bridge. I tried re-downloading the bridge from BCFiles.com and installing it but that didn't fix it. The Nova Bridge is the only bridge I have installed outside of the Galaxy and Soveriegn Class Bridge. Thanks for the help.
Here is what I have installed: (not in the order I installed them though in the new install)

BC 1.1 Patch
Nano FX 2.0
DS9 Extended
BC Plugin Core Gold
MVAM Mod
Plus some ships ( Wileys Excelsior Pack, DJ, Abassador's, Baz's Proto Ambassador)

Old Install:
Patch 1.1
Nano FX beta (1.0 I think)
DS9 FX (not extended)
BC Plugin Core Gold
Many ships
And some other mods that I can't think of right now LOL.

My Computer Specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit (upgraded from Windows Vista 32 bit)
Intel Core 2 quad 3.0 GHZ
4 GB Ram
Power Color Radeon HD 6850 1 GB PCIe 2.0
Integrated Sound Card ( I did have a SB Card but it had problems plus had to make room for a Bigger Graphics Card)
LG Super LED HD Monitor

it sounds like it is calling the default Galaxy class position for Saffi, try reinstalling the bridge, and make sure you have all the requirements.

Hmmm
you also mite try loading these
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Prometheus_Bridge_Low;78626
http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Intrepid_Bridge_v32;85200

much of the testing was done in Koyabashi Maru, and think those bridges are inside.
which if possible Get KM use it, I know it is BIGG dwnlod, but worth it.

Another problem I am seeing is you've installed it to it's proper directory in Win7...

Try installing it in C:\Games\Activision and see if that helps also

Or straight to the desktop in a folder like "STBC Install" Or "BC" Etc. that will help as well.

Thanks for all the responces. I was able to fix the Safi problem by installing the Intrepid Bridge. Now she is sitting in her right place.
