ok guys i've finally got around to installing bc - now im running a 64 bit dual core 3500+ with a gforce 9400 1gig ddr2 graphics so Decent enough rig.
now I've installed Bc, then bc1.1 update. then AS it was only a test for my origins stuff i then installed KM2009 but this is where the problems lye.
Spec's DONT work, no matter what i do they dont, the game is sluggish and slow which is strange for an old game and then to top it off the video's and menu Flicker like a mother!
I'm running windows 7 64 bit enterprise edition and am in need of knowing wtf is going on. can u guys please help - also bc crash's quite alot while playing too - is it to much to ask that i just play and enjoy my game with out it going Poof on me :D

Hey phoenix um KM2009 is an old edition of KM and there is a newer one available there is also a file that is from the latest KM that will hopefully stabilise your game!

one other thing... on Win 7 installs don't have BC installed in the programfiles directory.... that causes quite a few issues.

Neb is correct...vista/W7 64 bit your best installing it anywhere except program files/program filesx86, mines still on C drive but just created a folder called KM...everything is in there. Also you might need to run it as administrator and in compatability mode depending on your set up.
Also before you start any game after install+ any mods installed make sure you delete all the vox.nif files as your system will create new ones as each ship is used which is unique...all the old ones are tied into what ever build was used during making ships iirc

I did the same as well and BC works fine for me

well, i'll be damned, that's what it was the whole time? now I longer fave dim ships (it seems to have even turned down the standard glow intensities)
