Title: USS Hyperion (Sketchup model)

This is my first thread here, so just wanted to say 'hi' and show my latest pride and joy, the USS Hyperion. I intended her to look like a next-gen Excelsior type cruiser with an experimental hyperdrive unit. I'd love to see this model in the game, but I have no idea about how to convert it to a game-usable file. Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Post by: Aeries on April 08, 2012, 09:19:46 PM: I'd go so far as to say that the model may -need- the rollbar to look... well, functional. Beyond that, I do like it. This model seems like it could easily be kitbashed into a post-TNG Oberth.

This model could easily be converted to 3DS MAS format to work on...and you clearly know how to handle textures.

I could give you tutorials on Sketchup and you could show me how to convert files, because I haven't got the foggiest! Lol! Time is actually my biggest issue at the moment as I'm getting married in a couple of weeks. Till then it's all hands to battle stations lol!

I know a site that does these conversions...It's how I got my TCS Midway model into 3DS Max...

Calamity: if you allow and if somebody is interested, I can make the unfinished conversion available, cause I?m withou time on my hands to finish her. ;)
