Hello everyone.
Some help would be appreciated with this technical issue.
My laptop is C2D X9100, 8GB DDR2 RAM, 9600m GT GDDR3, Win 7 SP1 (all latest updates) x64.
Running BC installer results in... nothing.
I even left the laptop running over night (8 hours actually - I know some Trek games like Elite Force wait for about 45 mins, or more before the installer runs), and still nothing.
And yes, I tried running it as administrator, then before that in various compatibility modes, and still nothing.
Is there any way to extract BC install directory from the setup cd itself or a potential bypass?

1: On win 7/Vista, bridge Commander cannot be installed into program files. it must go in it's own directory
2. Never mention cracks, hacks, extracts or downloads of the game engine it was never released by Activision, and mention gets the thread locked, and you kicked. it's still considered piracy. this is a zero tolerance rule around here
note that Jimmy can clarify the kicking part

KCS he didn't even bring it up dude.

Try to copy the contents of the cd drive to a folder on your computer. And run the setup.exe from there.

Have you tried installing BC via Total Commander ??? might help, if not then try copying CD contents to a folder on your HDD and then run setup.exe via TC.
If that doesn't help try making ISO or BIN image of the CD then run it via TC... I remember I had similiar issues on my PC, installing through total commander helped.

Why not ? I have it in C:/Program Files (x86)/Activision/Bridge Commander and it's working perfectly

I didn't see him mention any hacks or cracks at all :idk:

Why already talking about kicking ...
Sorry KCS but your post seemed to me just a little bit too harsh, no hard feelings ;)
