Title: BCMI.net on .NET 2.0 Framework
Post by: Billz on March 07, 2007, 10:58:58 PM
I need to know if BCMI.net will work if I install v2.0 of the Microsoft .NET framework.

I am asking because my graphics card drivers have stopped working so I need to update. Problem is, its saying i need 2.0 installed before I can upgrade my driver and since Im reluctant to do that, because i dont know if BCMI.net will work on the 2.0, Im kinda in a bind.

I need to know A.S.A.P since I dont want to lose the ability to use BCMI.net

I've used it recently in .Net 3.0, so no trouble there.

He mostlikely has an ATI card, it's control interface needs .Net.

Yep, you can install the drivers by themselves if you pick the right download from the ATI site.
.Net 1.0/1.1 is independent of 2.0 so you can have both of them installed too.

Thanks for the info.

I wasnt sure that if with 2.0 that Bill Gates totally screwed it over to make a completely useless version. (Reminds me of a certain 'OS' he recently released  :P)

Anyway, question answered. Feel free to lock this thread down if you must.
