In the back of my mind I seem to remember once downloading a mod which allowed you to generate holographic ships which flew to the left and right of you (ambassadors if i recall correctly) when you pressed a button in Felix's menu...
Now here's the kicker, I'm pretty sure I didn't download it from BC Files, but from one of the old independent websites that used to be about...
Did I imagine this or does anyone else remember this or am i just misremembering?

I remember it, you probably got it off the old Bridge Commander Universe forum. Unfortunately that forum is gone now and I've never been able to get the files again myself.

I was afraid it was something like that! There were a few if I remember correctly, but the one that stuck in my mind was the Decoy Ships - I was hoping I'd be be able to find a copy of it somewhere, I thought it would be pretty cool to rework it so it made the Talaxian Ships from the DQ Pack appear!

Admiral Ames made that mod... i think it can still be found somewhere, i might even have it on my harddrive still somewhere as well, ill look around...
you may want to check this mod out as well...

Interesting. A mod for Bridge Commander made 5 years ago, was apparently implemented into STO recently (Temporal console ability). BC proves yet again, that it was "well before" it's time when it comes to modding.
