Title: Mod Install Order

Hi guys,

Can anyone please tell me the correct install order for the major mods, mainly Kobayashi Maru and DS9FX.

Install Kobayashi Maru onto clean BC Install (ie unmodded)

That's it, KM contains DS9 FX (i forget whether it has extended in or not, instinct says yes)

KM does include DS9FX, but not DS9FX-Extended...  however, DS9FX-E can be safely installed after KM has been...
just be sure to install BC's 1.1 patch before installing KM however...

tend to think the bigger the mod, the closer to on top of a fresh install it needs to be.

ships are minor and can be dropped in at anytime.

i run
Bc & Patch
KM
than i put Galaxy Charts in and a few other minor script type mods
than the Delta Quadrant Pack
and than whatever extra ships/systems i want. BC runs pretty stable for me.

Galaxy Charts comes with KM...  you shouldnt install it over KM...

the correct order should be:
BC
BC 1.1 Patch (http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/Bridge_Commander_Patch;2374)
KM 2011.10 (http://bckobayashimaru.de/ws/index.php?id=downloads)
DS9FX-E (http://bridgecommander.filefront.com/file/DS9FX_Xtended;114427)
anything else from there, checking each thing before installing something else...

a long time ago - Galaxy Charts 2.0 is a part of KM...
look in the doc folder that is a part of KM, youll see it there...

oh ffs - go to your KM folder...  look at the "doc" folder - youll see the readme and everything for Galaxy Charts 2.0
that means it is included and doesnt need to be installed nor should it be installed...
