Hi all who are on my email contacts... my account was hacked so have updated my security.

probably the same thing that happened when my emails got hacked.  i think the programs that troll email accounts look for the ones that aren't being continuously used for posting e-mails, rather than the ones that ARE.  most of what happened with mine was that links were posted to a spyware spreader.  unfortunately, these things don't seem to notice either dead emails or spam filter programs.

edit: just got one, it's the usual crap.

should i get rid of my account thats been hacked or will it be ok now i have changed my password?

Password, security questions, the lot and you should be okay. 
Problem is, you will likely have been blacklisted by half the servers on the internet! :/
