Hey guys just to let you know if your a bit of a sins nut then in the next couple of weeks STA3 will be released into the wild. Everything at the moment is just been finalised, all the sounds are done and everything is coded in and ready to go. Just a few tweaks and it's be good to go.

Yes, I've been following this project for some time now and watched the Let's Play Videos of the Beta Version. I'm definitely considering buying Rebellion just for Star Trek: Armada III (and Star Wars: Ascendancy as well). :)

To be fair the base itself is pretty good, the mods just give it that extra variety. ;)

When I have the spare cash I'll certainly be buyings Sins just to play this mod. (well of course I'll play Sins vanilla first to learn how to play the game.)

Sins Vanilla is a damn good game without any mods, so that should tell you about how epic STA3 is.

I see what you mean about the Excalibur comment. Maybe hes only seen the Odyssey once, not sure what his stance on STO is.

He tried STO around beta/after beta and disliked its system... this was around the time he got tired of WOW and was looking for an MMO that wasn't WOW based. He didn't like how STO felt.

Hm, maybe he should try it again now that it is F2P.
Also I didn't realize he was such a big trek fan, he even recognized the Klingon/Cardassian Alliance logo, which I think is pretty obscure since it was only in a couple episodes.
