I notice this does not seem to be an adaptation of the Garth novel, but (if the mention of the Four Years War is any indication) based more on...what was it, FASA? I remember reading Four Years War references in the old "Ships of the Star Fleet" books, not sure if there was a link there.

To update this:

The 20 min. "Prelude to Axanar" film is on their kickstarter page since start of this month.

It is really just a longer trailer, but pretty well done, imo.
