debris
« on: November 09, 2018, 09:08:07 AM »
Hello everyone
Correct me if i am wrong, but i slightly remember (possible by nanofx) that when a ship/station is destroyed in bc there was a mod that there would stay some wreckage/debris moving around in space.... but i cant find that mod anywhere if there was such scripting.
My version of kobayashi maru doesnt do that anymore but it used to do it in the early years. Anyway i dont know if it was another version of KM or not
i have the lastest version of it 1.0 or 1.1B
thx in advance for your info on the subject.

IIRC there is a mutator in KM (either from km itself or ds9fx) that removes debris almost immediately in order to stabilize the game.

I don't know what its named anymore, probably something including 'stabilize', or 'clean'.  :idk:

KrrKs is correct:  DS9FX's memory cleaning feature removes debris to help reduce memory usage in the game, though this feature can be turned off.  I don't use KM personally, so I don't know what mutator he's referring to, but I do believe KM has this feature independent of DS9FX as well.

The function is located in DS9FX Mutator Options.
