That Katana sketch is great, maybe you could get DJ to do it ;)
I do love the work you have produced DJ, certainly one of the best designers in BC :)

Pure awesomeness DJ. Trying to snag the next "modder of the month" award by chance? :D

Seeing as this is probably part of the "Delta" project, would it not be possible to re-use some of the textures off your Century Class for this ship, albeit remapped and new details added etc? My point being, so that you don't have to make new textures from scratch.

An excellent design DJ, how about naming it the Valor class with ships like

USS Valor
USS Honorable
USS Virtuous
USS Truthful

and so on, so on, just a suggestion

WOW  thats fantasic. perhaps scale the nacelles larger slightly, the rest of the ship seems to dwarf them. i like how the secondary hull sweeps upwards instead of down like a sovereign. it kindof hints to a possible enterprise-j design precursor

That's what I was thinking. If one simply borrowed textures and such from previous models, build time could be reduced.

That looks awesome.

Just an idea I had but what would it be like if the nacelle pylons went straight out instead of dipping down? But keeping the nacelles in roughly the same distance out from the main body.

Can't wait for this DJ :D

Beautiful design DJ... definitely a successor to the Akira.

BTW, CG's design is just as sweet... different... but just as appealing.

I'm sure that's been taken. How about Shogun class?
sounds majestic lol

would fit as a replacement for the akira, but some 50 years after it, maybe CG's Katana class should be the middle step.
the Akira is relatively new to Starfleet, so it has life ahead of it.

I don't know why, but I feel the saucer too wide. can be the angle, tho.
the bridge module and the hull are nicely done.

If I'm not mistaken, that would go against Gene Roddenberry's established rules for creating Trek ships. IIRC, the nacelles aren't supposed to be hidden behind the hull of the ship, when viewed from the frontal aspect.

That said, I'm not a Treker canonicity freak, like most other TOS'ers my age, and I am of the perspective that if it looks better, so be it...

Wow DJ, after all of this, you're gonna wind up in a loony bin due to all the tiredness from modeling LOL.  Looking good my friend :)

A real beauty. Indeed looks like a successor of the Akira. For some reason I also wonder how she'd look with a torpedo-carrying rollbar. :D
