But isn't Spock wearing Cadet uniform in that clip?

His isn't red though.  And I like those uniforms.  Look more military.

EDIT:

New pic of the big E:

US Poster: Minimalist B&W...blurry starship...it gets a meh.

UK Variant Poster: Photoshopped heads...but a much better arrangement...looks better than the US poster.

Spanish Poster: Except for the shuttlecraft, no relation to Star Trek...could be a new ID4 poster.  Looks neat, but no relation to Trek, so it gets a big MEH.

Japanese Poster: Worst of all...extreme low res close up of damaged Kelvin that's blurred til you can't see what it is...only thing that says Star Trek is the logo...PUKE ON IT!

Oh, I sure hope that a much larger version of the new E and UK poster pics show up somewhere.
All hail the messiah!

Well now we know that the Big E's torpedo tubes are blue. Maybe the torps are too.

And look at that bitch called the Narada. Looks like it's about to eat you! It's certainly eating the JJPrise.

Edit: I can imagine them using "Requiem for a Tower" for a trailer showing off lots of stuff.

Have you met the community on YouTube, lol?
Most of the time, its just videos uploaded with the 'Requiem For A Tower' or Epic Manuever (I don't know the name of this track) tracks. As soon as somone sees something awesome, they re-edit it with those pieces of over-used music, upload it, and b*tch when people comment saying 'Vid sux. Moosic b r stoopid' or something to that effect, starting flame wars and just generally getting old really fast.

'Requiem' and the Epic tracks are over-used people! Try something new!

Yes. Thats why I said it. The most overused piece of crud in the Tube-iverse and I can imagine JJ going for it. :D

Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnyway, is it me or does the UK get all the good stuff? Just going on from the posters...

Agreed Dalek.  While I do like the simplicity of the US poster, the blur was overdone to the point where you can't tell it's the Enterprise unless you're like us and have dissected it over the past few months.

And I too hope that a high res image of that shot of the Enterprise shows up soon.

And yes, the Narada is one mean looking ship.  Still haven't quite figured out which way it's supposed to fly.  As far as the comic goes, it could fly points facing forward or back.  Though a friend did postulate that it could fly either way since it does contain Borg technology.

Should've got Drew Struzen to hand paint the the STXI posters. He hand painted all the Star Wars, Indiana Jones and loads of other movie posters.

The quality of his work is incredible.

These just look like they were thrown together in Photoshop.

EDIT: So, its official subtitle is 'The Future Begins'? Thats kinda lame. Guess it was a last minute thing.
If you are wondering what I mean by 'subtitle', all the ST movies have them.

Example:
ST1: The Motion Picture
ST2: The Wrath Of Khan (god rest Ricardo Montalban)
ST3: The Search For Spock
ST4: The Voyage Home
ST5: The Final Frontier
ST6: The Undiscovered Country (this subtitle isn't great either)
ST7: Generations
ST8: First Contact
ST9: Insurrection
ST10: Nemesis
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

What I usually base on direction is the way a ship is shaped. Borg ships are indeterminable because they are equal on all sides.

Lets take the Star Destroyer. It's pointy at one end with a flat end at the other. To me, the points goes forward. Same applies for a Trek ship. I can't imagine a ship having the bridge right on the biggest part of the ship i.e. the saucer.

So assuming the Narada is shaped like this:

? ? -|-------------------------------------
?  --|-----------|
? ---|-----------|-------
?  --|-----------|
? ? -|-------------------------------------

Then I'm guessing it goes ---this way--->

Edit: Completely different. 47 is mentioned loads of times in Voyager (vid here
). How many Klingon ships did the Narada destroy? 47 wasn't it...? :P

No Billz, the movie HAS no subtitle.  The idiots who run the marketing at Paramount just don't know how to make posters.  The Future Begins is the movie's "tag-line".  Why does everyone keep getting that confused?  This movie is title Star Trek.  No number.  No subtitle.  Just Star Trek.  That's one of the things that they said from the beginning.  Stupid Paramount marketing people.

The future beings. WTF? How can it begin 100 years before last seen canon? Shoudn't it have the word "past" in or something?

Ummm, Dalek, it's being advertised to people who MIGHT not have ever seen Star Trek.  Besides which, it's OUR future.

Kirk and McCoy on what appears to be a redressed Kelvin bridge, so this is likely during the Kobayashi Maru sim:

Spocks:

Old Spock's Jellyfish:

And just for giggles, a nice shot of Starfleet Academy, sans smog/fog, or whatever:

In other (related) news: Paramount moving forward with a sequel to Star Trek XI, with an estimated release Summer 2011. To me, this shows Paramount have great confidence in the movies success, even before it's been released on the cinema, when they are already planning a sequel.

Wait, if they're doing a sequel to STXI, doesn't that imply we'll be stuck with this JJPrise?

I guess that all depends on the outcome of this movie first. We don't know yet how the movie will end. To quote a most historic figure:
