If you click on the view screen in the Panorama it shows the warp effect.

I really like the new bridge, especially at red alert.  And the warp effect is cool

  • Doctor who? ;)
So apparently, they still use 3D in the future, lol. (Look at the screen to understand what I mean)
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

Either that or the Enterprise or Narada are taking fire at the time.

One thing that annoys me is all those spot lights in every bulkhead! Also lose those free standing consoles and the ones close to the helm/nav console and it would look far closer to the original plus would make the bridge look less cramped.

But I can live with it as all the bridge basics are there and it looks far better at red alert.

*shrugs* I'm taking everything on that bridge with a grain of salt.  I happen to like the new displays and extra consoles, they give the impression that there is a LOT that goes into making this ship work, plus with all the displays and the HUD on the viewscreen, the captain has a lot more info at his fingertips.

I like the displays as they actually display infomation but I still stand by my dislike of all the spotlights and extra consoles.

Why does it need to look like a lot goes into making things work when we're in the 23rd Century and no doubt computer automation will be far more advanced than now. The computer on the Eurofighter keeps the plane in the air so why would it be any different 200 years from know?

I love the command chair!

Hmph.

Bridge spot lights.

Also, automation on a highly complicated starship isn't always necessarily a good thing.  Remember what happened to the 1701 at Genesis.

And yes, the command chair is a perfect upgrade.  :)

It certainly gives an...interesting perspective of the Big JJ-E.
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

It makes sense, what if the senors go down? How will you see?

ANY OTHER WAY!!!! xD

Rofl, I have the funniest picture in my head of a nameless redshirt leutennant knocking on the bridge window in his space suit being all like... "Halp! Don't jump to warp yet! Nuuuuuuuu~~!!" Then the Enterprise jumping to warp and the little red shirt dude being splattered all over the bridge windsheild like a bug. Yeeeee, that would make the window worth it. Otherwise it's crap. ^_^

Wait, what gives the impression that it's a window?  The bridge module on the exterior  shows no sign of one.

Also, they added a new section to showcase the Quantum Mechanix models, they look awesome. I may retexture your JJPrise Wiley to be a couple of them. :D

My personal favorite is "Enterprise 5", she's got a sweet WWII look about her. (With little D7's by the impulse manifold like WWII fighters to show their kills.)

New models up on here, including, normal paint scheme.

I like Model 11

Yeah, that poor model has droopy engine syndrome.

Ummm, Neb, no it doesn't.  No window on the front where the viewscreen would be.

I always thought it was a camera view we were looking at as you can see the registry which you wouldn't see from most angles if the viewscreen was actually a window

I said it once, I'll say it again.  That model and all the ones on the site were created by digital scans of the CGI model provided by ILM!  There ARE no missing windows!
