Just finished it... All I can say is.. WOW

Anyone in Canada that gets the Space channel they're doing a live show now about it, and David Blue and Andy Mikita will be on.

Also Alania Huffman and Louis Ferreira are doing a behind the scenes tour, its funny.

All this series, I've been thinking it's great. It's a worthy Stargate continuation, but not as good as around the middle of SG-1. But that was the single greatest series finale I have ever seen! I cannot wait to see how in the hell they fix it all.

Yeah, Ep 20 was mindblowing. I can't even begin to imagine how great S2 is going to be without being so biased in favour.  :funny SGU's return sounds like a great birthday present!

Hey, has anyone noticed though... Destiny has three shuttlepads, one shuttle has been missing since before they got there... Wonder what happened for the ship to ditch it? Unless someone had managed to get onboard before the team did. :idk:

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

Intriguing mystery.

They've only got the one shuttle now, right? Since they ditched the faulty one on the Genesis planet.

Klingon Academy now works on XP/Vista/Win 7 thanks to one dude's patches, click here for details. I highly recommend it!

Stargate Universe: S2 Mid-Season Finale! Destiny has a Destination!

News Tuesday, June 29 by Captain

On the set of Stargate Universe at Bridge Studios in Vancouver last week, a lucky moment allowed us a very quick sneak peek at the call sheet for Stargate Universe Episode #210, the mid-season finale of Season 2, called ‘Resurgence’.

It showed who was in what particular shot, and gave a brief description of what was being shot. What we glanced was a list of actors and a very brief description of them interacting with special effects.

What we inferred: a gigantic battle in space featuring an armada of alien spaceships, and possibly a planet-based battle, are coming to Stargate Universe. Great news for Stargate action junkies!

Here is a list of things that will very probably occur in the mid-season finale of Stargate Universe (don’t worry, not too spoilery, as the descriptions are just sketches):

“Wray sees an alien ship swoop up and over The Destiny.”

“Eli sees a holographic image of a battlefield.”

“A sea of wrecked ships.”

The other big, big news was officially announced by SGU creator Brad Wright in an interview - The Destiny has a destination of cosmic importance, so important that it overshadows the desire for the crew to get home, and that by fulfilling this new mission, it may in fact allow them to get home.

No further details of course, but it should have fans getting pretty intrigued and excited for the return of SGU in October.

This is very intriguing... what would the destiny and its support ships be after? Not just to spread the gates over the universe?
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

Pretty obvious crossover selections:

- McKay as the foremost expert on all things ancient (thou, why Daniel hasn't been to Destiny yet, is anyones guess)
- Woolsey as a representative of the IOA

Seriously, send over McKay and Carter, or McKay and Daniel with the communication stones, and they would pretty much have full access to the ship and a few systems repaired within a week :P

Because, after all the years of SG-1, Daniel is still an lingual archaeologist, not a technical expert. McKay is a scientist who deal's with the more technological side of the Ancients.

Still... Daniel was also once an ascended ancient, who although "stripped of memories" was still able to retain some of the memories and experiences, and also had the knowledge of Merlin in his head for a while. Either way, having both McKay and Carter visit the Destiny would probably help a whole lot more than having the "crew" say hello to friends and loved ones every week.

Ascended being, not Ancient. There is a difference. :D He was only able to remember some memories from his time as an ascended being after RepliCarter probed his mind. He would have forgotten about them after the latest of his many "deaths" on-board the replicator ship.

And the knowledge from Merlin was pretty much gone (except for the lingering visions leadimg them to The Ark) after the Merlin consiousness in him died, reverting him back to "Daniel 1.0" before his succesful attempt to get the Sangraal back through the Ori supergate to their home galaxy.

Point is, while Daniel is awesome, his skills are again limited to his knowledge of the Ancients as a culture, and his ability to get hot alien booty despite being a geek stereotype, lol. :D

Exactly :P

Oh well, still glad to see some Atlantis characters show up. So that that show isn't entirely forgotten. Highly doubt we'll be seeing any Atlantis movies anytime soon. There is supposedly a 3rd SG1 movie planned as well, but I doubt we'll see that either. Mostly due to MGM's current financial problems.

I couldn't tell you what is going on with the 3rd SG-1 movie since I don't know myself, but GateWorld did have an article, mentioning that in Joe Mallozi's blog he said that the Atlantis movie was ready to be shot, but that it only needed to be greenlit and slightly altered because of the impending SGA/SGU crossover.

I want to know what happened with Atlantis itself though. I doubt a huge alien city with barely any power would stay hidden in San Francisco bay for very long, lol. I'm willing to bet that several naquadah generators were tied into it's systems, allowing it to either have a constant cloak, raise the shield so that it could rest on the bottom of the bay, or flown back to the Pegasus Galaxy via the "Deus Ex Machina drive" (wormhole drive), lol.

And they still need to get Teal'c on SGU dag nab it!  :bitch:

From what I remember them saying in the last episode they said the city is going to stay cloaked till repairs are done, then their going to get fly it back
