I was going through my background nebulas/galaxies that I've collected through the years and had a thought that I think would be a cool thread:
A BC Background Repository.
This will be a place where any one of us can put in a favorite background that is unique to their personal BC installs and has decided to share it with this awesome community of Trekkers/BC fans!
I'll get the ball rolling with one of my backgrounds.
I replaced the stock "galaxy6" that shipped with BC with this image I edited of the supernova remnant known as M1. Of course, if you choose to use this background, it is your decision on whatever you want it to replace in your personal BC installs. Just remember to rename it with the exact same name of the object you want it to replace and obviously put it in the correct directory.
This image is 512x512 and unfortunately, I didn't make one that is higher res. But I have plenty more that I will periodically add that are higher res pics.
Note:
I realized that for some reason, I can't upload a TGA file here on BCFiles so, I converted the image to a JPG. For those of you that have an image editing app, open the JPG and then "save as" a TGA, that will take care of the problem. Those of you that don't have an image editing app, there are plenty of free converters available for download on the net.
