It definitely faces backwards...  I just don't think the large scale mock up they used for this shot shows the window in quite the right place. :)

I think this blueprint shows best where the window is. I've linked it because it's a large image.

Right now It looks like it should be moved towards the left so that it's closer to where the hull curves forwards. Still, it's looking good, I can't wait to be able to fly this round in BC.

honestly, who really cares about that one window's exactness? lol
not that you'll ever notice it in the game

yeah i did.

as far as holding out goes, I'm not really.  The ship's simply not done.  in fact, the ship has had quite a few changes since that pic went up.  i just haven't posted any recent wip shots here in the thread.

Well, if you're asking me, it's the period between early June and early October, but that's just me.

thanks man.. and were all wannabies and aspire to be better than we are... even DJ has someone he thinks he wants to be at that standard...

But DJ and a few others here are at the pinacle of understanding, not only how to make a model look great, but works within a constraint of perticular modding needs for a specific game... and that need to be admired when a ship looks this great.

needless to say, if BC was being released in 2008, with direct x 9.8 -> 10+ features, and the shackles where removed from DJ of BC ....

what would be the outcome...

DJ..

you.. have inspired me, and so have other BC modellers in the past... so has WZ and most imprtantly Lord Schtupp...  massively a great inspeartion to us all.. im not gonna mention all the great modelers out there... their are far too many.. needless to say i watch ur work and want to be you.. but ..............

this is just summat else... and now and again.. u need to look back before u blow it up..... fly it to the next star sytem... and think...      thats an awsome rendition of the ship..

hats off... big cookies... more tuts lol  8)
