Hi folks it's update time!!  :dance

The work to the Phoenix Variant has been completed and I've posted some nice 3D screenies from Nifskope. I've tried my best to get the model and textures as accurate as possible but in truth there is very little reference material to work with, So I've filled in the blanks in a few places!!

Hope you people like, c&c welcome!!

Amazing how fan-made work can change our positions on ships we otherwise loathed, isn't it? this phoenix variant is no different. Beautiful work.

Looks good mate, but it needs an aft torpedo tube launcher!

Cheers Elm, I hear what you're saying but I don't think that this variant actually has an aft torpedo launcher. Also I kind of like the idea of a weaker science vessel which is more suited to exploration than combat. It has a fprward launcher located on the secondary hull beneath the saucer.

The main features of this variant will be a higher sensor capability and range, and a faster recharge on the Phasers due to the surplus energy from the lack of torpedo bays.

yeah but the shields have to be weaker than the weapon pod version thx to the high powered sensor dome

Agreed, Once I've completed work on the models I add these changes into the Phoenix HP. :D

If anyone is interested in the status of this project, it's about 70% complete and I'm hoping to have it released in about a month.

Will be sure to take a closer look Neb, I've been comparing various different Nebula installs to see how other people have modded their HP's in the past. The one's in KM1.0 are probably the best I've found so far lol.
