it was touched-on briefly here:
http://bc-central.net/forums/index.php?topic=2296.msg44695#msg44695

but ya it is a slight difference, moreso a Galaxy kitbash...  but it is a little unique looking, IMO...

While an abomination, yes, I always liked the "Melbourne", for whatever reason. Jsut seems nifty. I like how this varient is actually cannon in length and dimentions, etc, in comparison to (CR's?) nebula pack. :) Her role seems bang-on, too. ^_^

I sincerely think this pack is possibly one of the best going on right now, and I applaud you for the wonderful work you've done so far. Beautiful. Simply, beautiful. :)

Melbourne looks GREAT! most cannon Melbourne ever made for BC or any ST game I know of, and best looking to boot.

Another cookie for you good sir.

Thanx Shion!!. :)

Ok everyone, after doing much thinking I've decided to DROP the Melbourne from my Nebula Class Pack. Now before everyone shoots me down.... hear me out.  :?

The reason I've dropped it is because It didnt really fit in with the Canon Nebula variants that I've modded. And the truth is some people are going to want just the Nebulas and not the Melbourne.  :x

It's not all bad though....

The Melbourne WILL be released as part of a Proto-Nebula ship pack which will also include two variants and will be released in parallel with the Nebula Pack.

Thanx

CE

Thanks Mayhem.  :D

The alpha channels to the "Galaxy styled" saucer have been completed, so it's time for some in-game shots. Also there is a first glimpse of the second variant which can be seen the last three pics.  :)

With all the modding and texturing now complete it's time to move onto the Hp's and submenu scripting, we're still oncourse for that February release folks!!

Looks good Glenn. But don't the pylon phasers need to be on the side of the pylons rather than on top?

Makes sense, all things considered.
Still, amazing work. I look forward to (both of) these packs.  :) I dunno if I've made you gain a pound yet, but another cookie for you...

I was just admiring these pix again and was wondering... is the text on a nebula class registry black or blue with red outline?
