I was just admiring these pix again and was wondering... is the text on a nebula class registry black or blue with red outline?

The regs are a desaturated navy blue with an insignia red outline. The smaller regs such as the ones on the nacelles are just navy blue.

Also if anyone is wondering the current status of this project...

I've completed work on the models, textures, scripting, for the Canon Nebulas. I'm currently trimming the fat off of the final pack and optimising textures sizes before I do the same with the Proto-Nebulas.

I'm hoping it will be available "within" the next two weeks.

UPDATE

Hi folks, I just want to inform you all that the Proto-Nebula and Nebula packs I've been working on may be delayed a little while longer.

The reason for this is because I'm unhappy how the ships look when playing in-game, and on the plus side I've worked out how to edit the vertices and normals to models in Nifskope so I'm making some final tweaks to all the models before packaging them up and sending over to BCFiles. 

Sorry you people are gonna have to wait a little longer, But I think it will be worth it!!

Ok then.... :roll:

No beauty shots yet though, the pics below show the changes I've made to the model. As you can see, several areas of the ship have odd reflections from either direct light or speculars. I've managed to fix these (though I'm still working on a couple!!), and I've also added a new aft section which as replaced the original one that came with the ship.

Next job is to port these changes over to the other models and then another round of testing before release, hopefully!!.  :lol:

Yeah squared deflector looks much better! Good that you were able to fix thoses lightning issues! I never figured out how to get rid of them.
