I've just replaced orig nacelles with those from tiburon, I also rescaled, retextured them and they fit pretty good :D

Much better. They really look great on the ship.

Ok that's it for today, deflector has been redone, also shuttle bay has been replaced with impulse engine, photon launchers replaced with quantums and I've just started work on bottom saucer, here are the pics :

hmmm looks really nice so far :)
But I dont really know wether I like the white palting on the sauce...
Maybe tune them in a warmer grey or sth...the contrast to the dark platings COULD be too strong but I'm not 100% sure about that...
anyway, have that cookie!

I like the third impulse engines too, but I also agree with intrepid, the white is a bit to strong...

Psst: The Quantums should be in the "neck." The two arrays near the deflector are probe launchers :P. The neck has 4 launchers arranged 2 to each side.

You sure? ST:VI showed the launchers nearest the deflector. Perhaps I'm wrong for the future refits, but I'm certain in ST: VI they were right above the deflector... Correct me...? :)

Loving the look of this Excelsior. Looks like it fits in a post-nemesis era now. I applaud people who do extensive "retexturing" rather than just simple hue/brightness adjustments.

If I could give more than 1 cookie at a time, I would. But since I can't, i'll give you this one for now :D

i like the look of this retexture, but could it be possible to extend the neck ridges the full length of the neck instead of it stopping half way along the neck ?, it just looks strange to me,  but if nothing can be done then dont worry about it, it still looks wicked tho  :D

Just watched it. Both volleys of torpedoes came from the neck, not the secondary hull.

Strange. Could have sworn it was from just above the saucer. But good to know. :) Thanks.
