You fail to mention Enterprise's Plasma Cannons or Phased Cannons. Personally, I loved the Plasma weaponry (shipboard and hand weapons) because of their simplicity. Relics of a time when stun was not necessary.

I love the pusle phasers, effecticely adapted by klingons and romulans.

But without the "stun" setting, Kirk would not have had as much green alien poonanny.... McCoy had his hypospray, Spock had the nerve pinch, and kirk had the phaser on stun. It was a poonanny-scoring trifecta.

Well this poll isn't talking about Enterprise is it? Please make comments and polls specifically
related to the poll. Additionally, I don't believe Enterprise accurately reflects Trek history(non-canon).

As for me, I've always been fond of the Galaxy Class Phasers because of their wide coverage and
efficiency. They don't have the raw power of pulse phasers but they're still very destructive.

Actually, I'd say that there are plenty of reasons to argue that it is as canon as any other Trek-related material- regardless how much the fan-boiz complain about it.
 
OBTW: I'm not taking either side, so said fan-boiz might as well chew on someone else's buttocks- I want no part of that ridiculousness
