is she capable of launching Commander Rabb's F14?

How about Kara Thrace's Viper

I would go with a large single pylon, similar to the nebula weapons pod pylon, or the Galaxy X Nacelle pylon because, those ones you've got are still a bit narrow.

I am still working on the pylon like making them thicker and rounding.

Very nice GMAN.  Exceptional.  May I suggest also adding a couple other support pylons on either side of the pod, perhaps connecting to the main warp pylons at the base as well, just so that it looks as though the load, with the majority handled by the main pylon, is also supported by secondary pylons on either side.

If that makes any sense.  But DAMN, she's a fine ship!!!

I tried to add secondary pylons but it didn't look right so no secondary pylons.

On to the update added some phaser banks one the pod and some new aft torp tubes to replace the ones that were behind the stand.

If you got C&C please post it.

Thank God you dropped the secondary pylons.

Anyways, yeah, its a nice addition to an already existing ship. I couldn't have done it better myself.

Heck, I couldn't have DONE it myself.

Yes OMG it lives, ok joke aside due to my realization that there was no way I could texture what i had before and make it look right.

So I have changed my plan to a bay that opens up to smaller bays in the secondary hull.

I thought I would do a test fit to see how my bays fit and to give a preview of how they will fit.

I had some time today and made about and years worth of updates

First the Class name I'v come up with two new names

#1 Hathcock Class for Carlos Hathcock ? renowned Marine sniper with 93 confirmed kills during the Vietnam War (I'm liking this one right now)

#2 Boyington Class for "Pappy" Boyington? Medal of Honor recipient who commanded the famous "Black Sheep Squadron" (VMA-214) during WWII

And now the ship updates

First I'v put the bays in and stitched them in

2nd it was ponied out to me that the main impulse drive would fry the fighters so I'v added some on the sides and I'll model a door thats covers the main drive when the bays in open

How's the poly count as it is? And seeing that you look for names, how about naming it after Larry Thorne?

intresting design, reminds me of a Republic cruiser.

The only question is do you really want ship flying that close to the center impulse engine wake?

Other than that it has a lot of promise.

yup this hangar bay looks almost exactly same like the one on Venator, great idea, would be even better if you get rid of the neck and put saucer on the same level as secondary hull ;) something like TMP Midway carrier

Yes the Venator gave me the new idea for the bay damn iTunes with there copies of Clone Wars.

And impulse engine wake? which one there would be three and the the middle one would be shut off and closed off when the bay is open and the other two are aimed away from the bay.

And Bones got give me an idea :funny
