I also await the update, and I have a question.  Since you're calling this "TOS Reimagined"...are we going to see a retextured Connie as well?

That might just happen ;)

I'll be back with updates after I had a doc check out the strain on my leg this afternoon :)

*tries to picture the ol' Enterprise with either ENT stylings or TMP style hull plating, fails* Hmm, we'll just have to see if you come up with anything!

Ouch, that doesn't sound fun...

I found this doing a search for Klingon D7. I realize it's old, but wanted to point out it still has value.  What a great run of screenshots for a newb like me to see the evolution of a model .... as a TOS freak, I'd love to have this one ... I'm looking for something like a Klingon sister pack to the connie pack I have ..... did this get finished? URL? - Thanks!-  Darrin

Hmm, replying to a thread which is over 2 years old. Not a good thing. Since there are no ingame pics, this project looks like it has been on hold for a while.

First off, thanks for the link! JUST what I was looking for! (I saw that bit about you making a D7 in the future?, but it dissappeared .)

I guess I should have simply asked outright rather than replying to an old topic ...

Is it bad? I am sorry ... but why is it bad? I'm not being a wiseguy at all, just curious ... (I know, I sound like a two year old! "why is it bad daddy?) ... anyways, I guess I was just glad to come across that run of screens,  and being new, I thought I would get a reply like:

"It's been done for years, and it's here: www"

because I couldn't find it at filefront.

I installed BC for the first time ever 4 days ago ...

As a complete newb who's looking to catch up, I'm going to stumble in to old stuff a lot, and have questions since I wasn't around when all this was the hottest thing a few years ago .... just trying to 'catch up' so to speak, and not familiar with post etiquet around here yet .... I don't want to get anyone upset in within my first 20 posts!  ... I'll never do it again for sure,  but I was just wondering for future form, Why exactly is it bad for uninformed newbs to ask questions about old topics at this particular forum? - I belong to an RC plane forum where newbs ask about posts older than that all the time, and no one ever said a word. hmmmm - Thanks! - Darrin

PS Thanks AGAIN! - I just DL'ed your independence day pack!

It's more of a curtesy not to.  It's also a rule here.  It's not that it's bad but it's more along the lines of the modder may have moved forward with other projects and has put this on the backburner.

It's also curteous to allow modders to post updates when they're available to do so.  Seeing as the original author hasn't posted any updates in 2 years it's wise to say he is no longer working on the mod.  But don't let that discourage you, just check the dates before you post, if it's been longer than a month or two I would just start a new thread.

If you have any questions, just feel free to ask :).  And welcome to the forums!

ok, great! - and I could reference the older topic in the new thread, right? - Thanks again guys! - KM and all these ships, bridges and function mods are truly appreciated by this newb! - I have as much fun adding the mods as I do actually playing .... Darrin

Yeah you can just link to the older thread in the thread that you create.

... yeah found that out last night .... D7's out numbered us and we gave a fed style spanking .... jeesh I love the TOS stuff ....

BTW .. I have gone outside my TOS Purist shell with V'ger and the TWOK missions and ships and bridges .... and love it ... so fun. I alos added the MP3 player and have all the official soundtrack mp3z, (as well as audio clips from scenes in seperate folders) organized in folders, now so I can play the right music or scene at the right time ... anyone who wants the mp3z is more than welcome ...
