Deflector Dish is a bit too small, IMO

maybe make it just a little larger?

Everything I was gonna suggest... well, save for one thing... has already been said. Thus, my only suggestion... perhaps, now this is just a tiny nit pick, you could smooth out the shuttle bay area? I just noticed that it seems a bit jagged. Otherwise, as Lint said, it's a very clean mesh. Well done. There's a cookie coming your way, dude, so keep up the good work. :]

Added impulse engines to the saucer and secondaries to the necelle struts and also rear torps above the shuttle bay.

If I'm not mistaken, it can be a large sensor pod or used to fire torpedoes, given the ship's mission profile.

Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

Dude, now that i saw thses perspectives, I really think you should thicken the nacelle struts to atleast a whole deck's height, like this they really look flimsy.

hmm could add two small tubes under the deflector dish or 1 on either side of it... ala excelsior.

seconded. tubes on the pylons just doesnt sound practical given their small size and what would be required for transporting and loading the torpedos

I'd vote against that. If this were to be in the same era as the Ambassador Class (judging by the design it most likely is), the Federation wasnt really in a time of war, so there was no real need to have an exploration ship to have a vast amount of weaponry (such as the Nebula Class - weapons pod variant). I'd stick with simply the sensor pod version as it greatly enhances the idea of being a ship of exploration, rather than a ship of war.

I agree, the "lost era" was all about peace and exploration, I think.

And besides,
Don't we have enough ships that are armed to the teeth already?
Its nice to see a nice "simple" ship,

USS Warspite is an Apollo-class with the Nebula Weapons pod, but I've seen renders of this type with a different weapons pod...

I really like this project, only thing is the deflector, it needs to be Ambassador-sized.

Thanks guys, i agree with the secondary impulse engines and they have already been removed, the mesh is now 100%, spent the last few days, finishing it off, smoohings groups etc, modified certain areas, such as the front tubes, enlarging the deflector, adding the bridge and making the pylons thicker, i will map her out over the next few days.

Think you could add 3 additional phasers:

1 underneath the stardrive (belly phaser)
1 on each pylon facing port/starboard, similar to Ambassador/Galaxy.

The ship is severely lacking phaser coverage atm. Other than that it looks excellent.
