Think you could add 3 additional phasers:

1 underneath the stardrive (belly phaser)
1 on each pylon facing port/starboard, similar to Ambassador/Galaxy.

The ship is severely lacking phaser coverage atm. Other than that it looks excellent.

well shes not a combat ship, although i do agree on the ventral engineering phaser as its just one of those trademark features of federation ships.

I'm not saying she is a combat ship. I'm just saying that the phaser suggestions are what is generally standard on most ships of this type (Ambassador, Nebula, Galaxy). Besides, it's not necessarily the amount of phasers that determines its function. Hardpointing can be done to have weaker phasers than that of for example the Ambassador.

Thanks fellas, i will take a look at your phaser suggestions, it is lacking.. however im not going to over do it, as it is a science / research type of ship..

I have begun with the textures, im creating bump and spec maps so it can be used with, they will be zipped up in the same folder in the final dl, along with versions for sfc II , III and BC and possibly legacy.

I think "Deck 2" is lacking a few windows, and the registry may be a bit high. Removing either of the "1"'s to the left or right would make it more suitable for the timeperiod it's set in. Deck 1 may need a few windows added as well. Textures otherwise look great, as does the ship itself.

I think Dark is refering to the actual number. 119191 seems a little high for this ship. For a ship that is likely pre-TNG, a registry around the 20000 - 30000 region makes more sense to me.

You are indeed correct. A registry like: NCC-19191 sounds far more sensible for the era, whereas NCC-119191 would be more suited for a ship in the early to mid 25th century (post-Nemesis).

Very nice indeed markyd, I've always been a fan of the Apollo Class. I agree with Darkthunder though, the registry needs to lose a digit!!.

Great work though!!

I'm pretty sure Kirk was talking to starship then and quoting your post as proof that he needs to read the whole thread.
