Gabe Koerner Enterprise WIP
« on: October 10, 2008, 11:42:15 AM »
So, we've all seen this right?

Well, I'm trying to work on a skin for the Constitution to look like it. However, I currently don't have the game (should be here in a day or so), so could someone test it out for me, take some screen shots, give some feedback?
Here's the texture pack: http://files.filefront.com/Gaberar/;12022815;/fileinfo.html

I should like to point out that WileyCoyote is doing a brand new model of Gabe Koeners Enterprise. Of course, you can never have more than enough so good luck!

Here are some shots, there appear to be some MAJOR mapping issues with this ship.

Not to bad, got some errors to work on though, they will be easier to work on when you get your CD.

Or NifSkope, which is free and will enable you to view the model with textures applied, for the time being.

Alrighty, the game just got in, and I'll work through the errors with the texture when I get back from some job hunting *wish me luck*.
Oh, and I tried firing up that ship pack and the ships wont show up in game.

Do you have all of the requirements/ Foundation installed? As for the textures, you'd be better of fixing the mapping in a program like Max or Milkshape than figuring out how to make the textures work for the mapping.

it definitely does bring an interesting new look, even for being on the original model. my advice to you is to, obviously, fix up some of the mapping issues, but to also not make it look like quite so much of a copy-paste job of the new design onto the old model. try to mix it up a little, add in some elements that make it your own
