Hmm, I've tried both solutions, and remembered to delete the vox file after each change, but nothing seems to work.

gmunoz--> destroys the mesh and takes systems with it.  although there have been incidents where the mesh goes and the systems stay.

Also DJ, when MVAM separates or reintegrates a ship, it loses shield power until they recharge.  I don't know why that is, but it's been a bug ever since the MVAM Prommie.

Darran, I love the shuttle bay in the MSD.  I loved XI for having the racks, and looks like you slapped them on as well.

DJ, awesome as always. :)

I added the double decker shuttle bay months before Trek XI came out... i call copy right!

only if the shields are down when the ship separates.

No, I've seen that happen with full shields in the middle of combat.  Rather annoying actually.

I've never had it from 0%; I've seperated and shields go down to 75% before, 30% once.

But never had shields fail on me post-seperation though.

The only thing I can think of is that either a) the projectile you're going against is stupidly powerful and has a huge blast radius or b) you missed a digit with your shields or c) its a combination of both.

c) Hole-value is set too high in the ship file.

I messed around withe the hole value and got no change, even after clearing out the vox file.  Am i missing a step?

Possibly deleting the pyc file, for some (small) changes that might matter.
You may also get results with changing the PickLeafSize and the SurfaceDamageRes and the InternalDamageRes.

In Favour the Bold Dasher used a base hole value of 1400, then, if the ship had Ablative Armour he would add the armour strength to it.

I'll give that a try Mleo.

On another note, the grills on the saucer now activate after separation.  Also, the tactical display icons and ship icons, as well as MVAM script are all complete.  The ship is very near to completion.

Thanks guys.  Though I'm pretty happy teaching.  Besides, my next career will be as host of the Tonight Show.

Mleo--> I tried that, and no luck. :(

1. Finishing touches of the integrated ship's HP.
2. HP the saucer and drive section independently.
3. Create icons.
4. Create ships plugins for the saucer and drive section.
5. Set up a shuttle launching framework.
6. Create the ship's MVAM plugin.
7. Tactical displays for each ship component.
8. Beta test.

Okay, so this ship went from "to do list" to complete in how long? :P  And all because you got bored with the Enterprise lol

Fantastically beautiful ship DJ, can't wait to see her tear apart a few ships.
