Sadly that is not within my power at the moment. Let me get the ship painted and flying first.

Now I may just give a stupid idea here. But isn't making a saucer seperable just to make 3 models:

1: Full ship with saucer, Secondary hull and what ever.
2: The Saucer alone.
3: The Stardrive section alone.

And then add the MVAM system to it and t?ll it to use the above models?

pretty much.  but you also have to do an individual HP for each piece, and you also have to line up the two parts of the ship in the MVAM script which is kinda trial and error.

It's not that tough though, really.  Just adds more work.  Well worth it though.

I should note though, that on a connie, saucer sep was said by Gene to be a last ditch effort to save lives.  It needs a starbase to put it back together.

there may be a way to alter the mvam script of this ship so that it can't re-connect.  i'd ask MLeo about that.

well for the time being this ship will be released as a whole ship. If it gets modded to seperate then I'm happy for that.

All these perspective shots are either distorted... or the ship is.
Can you post some orthographic pics?

And the three areas where the Starfleet Emblem needs to be rounded outward a bit.  Other than that, it's mighty fine!
