Trek in its Steampunk form.
« on: February 22, 2009, 01:39:42 PM »
There is a Steampunk contest that is ending in 6 days, and I just started something. A Steampunk version of a Trek ship. Some of you might be familiar with Steam Trek (an RPG at Steam-Trek.com) and I thought I'd do my own version.

Steam-Trek?  Huh, I'd better look into that.

If I were you, I'd make the bridge more like a crow's nest type thing.

They had a Steampunk Cyberman (sorry, Cybershade) in the last Christmas Special.
I still can't read peoples minds, nor can I read peoples computers, even worse, I can't combine the two to read what is going wrong with your BC install...

Steam punk ships would rock, I mean...TOS ships mostly would benefit from the designs. Also steam punk based bridges as well.

Don't get me ideas.  The weaponry is another thing-- lightning for phasers?  Energy cannons/missiles? HG Wells, Jules Verne, and that mechanical spider from Wild Wild West............time for me to conjure up an USS Enterprize .

Now Wiley, when you make an Enterprise, you have to have pipes on it, tanks to contain fuels etc. I would also put a Pipe between the nacelles and in the middle of the pipe, have a cylinder with some glowing blue on it, in like the form of windows or something but circling the cylinder. =D

Nice Dalek.

For a moment I thought you were talking about me :D.

I like this idea of Steam ships. And making a Fed Ship like that should prove amusing. :D

If we're going this route we need a new BC map depicting an atmosphere. heh

(blue sky and everything)
Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

How about the upper-atmosphere(not quite space)?  ST:Invasion did that.

Hey guys,

I got bored with this, but if someone wants to persue the concept, they have my blessings :-)

and please do keep it on topic with modding the ship. Filling the thread with images of C3PO and Daleks is better suited to using of the graphics art forum.
I just realised something. I've released over 300 fully modded ships for bridge commander. Bow to your master :D
