Thought u guys would like an update, here the TNG (latish) veriant of the strider, brought into action for the dominion war

I'm havin a hell of a time with the lower hull i just cant map the dang thing right and the textures at the bottom are all horrid and blurred,...any takers to help me map it properly??

any way back onto the ship....wat u think??

also question, how do i go about making phaser strips??

The thread got a little off topic with some arguements over it's role in BC which there was no imput from the creator yet a bunch of people speaking as if it was theirs to speak of. So, I've cleaned the posts out. Lets let the author decide the capabilities of his ship, if he's made a decision.

ok guys somthing between a light destroyer/crusier *dunno wats less* or a scout as she should be ??? any one??

anywho, since i coulnd't suss out how to texture her i gave up to think about it, and well here she is so far

As u can see, got the lines and the *cargo* bay ares done, also the fed red line...Opinions?

i really dont know much about texturing at all so if any one can give me some pointers pls do!!

I'd make her a scout, quick on her feet, strong shields and weaker weapons, so she can fight back a bit but still be able to get away.

see now Agree with the scout, BUT i'd say be more (STARWARS QUOTE TIME) be like a tie Intercepter - Fast and Deadly and Dangourous, and really weak shields so u can do hit and runs or just hope u can out run the damn thing thats firing at you lol

I think you should move up a resolution for your textures.. what are these 512x512?

Mm...I would look around for some good TMP aztek from the enterprise or excelsior to do that. Also Hawx is a good game. I've been hitting RE5

Here, this might help you creating an aztec: http://www.meshweaver.com/frames/tutorials/aztec.htm
Simply choose an 1:2 aspect ratio before applying the polar coordinates filter and you're going to get a nice result. This is also how I made the aztec for my Strider.
