LEGO: Star Trek
« on: March 06, 2009, 08:30:41 PM »
With all of the 'reincarnations' coming to light at the moment, there is a common theme, a lego associated video game ( Star Wars, Batman.etc )

So, what would happen if you made Lego star trek... I would buy it ^^

I don't know... All the Lego games that spun off from Lego Star Wars have all revolved around third person shooting essentially.  Trek isn't about that.  It would involve a major change in gameplay, something not seen in between Lego Star Wars I and II, Indiana Jones, and Batman.

If you wanted it to be successful, then you wouldn't base it on garbage, lol.  :D

But a TNG Lego Star Trek game would be well recieved.
Can't wait for 2014 to start.

There was already Star Wars and Batman lego though, before the games. I've never seen any Star Trek Lego.

Would be cool though. LEGO: Bridge Commander.

I'm actually planning on making a 16-bit BC, if I can get the ships to look sprite-like.

Good so far, Dalek.  I could see that... except for why the Ent D ten forward when they are Ent E missions?

All of Chapter One, Star Trek Nemesis.

Main Menu Area

Ent-D Ten Forward is the beginning. There is a Lego Guinan at the bar. Thats where you go for cheats, buying character and specials and the other stuff.

There are tables with cups on. You can destroy the cups for Lego pieces (the usual bronze, silver and gold).

To go to each mission, you must walk out the corridor on the left of Ten Forward.

For the model viewing and gold cube special, go out the corridor on the right.

Missions

ST: FC, ST:I and ST:NEM would be the only films suitable for the style seen in the other Lego games.

To go to each mission, you must walk out the corridor on the left of Ten Forward. There you will see a number of doors but only one can be accessed (ST: FC) and the others can be unlocked once the first chapter of FC is finished.

They will be a majority of space and ground missions. Space will involve being in command of capital ships and ground will be just like normal with vehicles.

Missions: Chapters

(I have only thought up ST: NEM missions)

Chapter 1

Opening cinematic ST: NEM opening titles. Instead of zooming to Romulus, you are zoomed to the LegoPrise-E (not its actual name but to make the difference between Lego and actual Trek more obvious).
Zips to Lego Picards quarters. Lego Adm. Janeway on the line. The general waving of Lego-hands and "mmm"-ings. Jane-Lego pics up a picture of Romulus and points and "mmm"s. Le-Card is like "ooh no" but Jane-Lego stares at him. Le-Card gives up and nods reluctantly.
Lego Enterprise swings round to enter warp. Nothing happens. Cuts to Lego-Forge who is standing around. Looks at the Warp Core and kicks it. Lego-Prise jumps to warp. Fades away...

Fades back...Bridge. Riker is swinging round in his chair. Troi is fighting over the helms control. Worf is being...Worf. Picard strolls from turbolift. Notices a big blip on La Forge's bridge screen. LaForge is jumping up and down excitedly. Picard "somehow" gives the order to change course and the helmswo/man changes course. Fades away...

Fades back...Enterprise stutters out of warp. Manages to go into orbit.

Bridge. Riker is on his Lego knees begging Picard to let him take the Argo. Picard folds arms and shakes head slowly. Then he grabs Worf and Data and shoves them into the Turbolift.

Cuts to scene outside the Enterprise. The Argo shuttle stops, starts, pinwheels and heads to the planet.

Cuts to scene: Argo landing on planet. the vehicle flies out. Worf is holding on like a girl, Data is blank and Picard is like "WEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Game mode beings: You are in the car as Picard. Follow the hollowed out path to the 6 red checkpoints in order. The last one is B-4's head. 3 model pieces available.

Cuts to cinematic: Picard swings out. Worf clings to the chassis. Data follows Picard. Data sees something and picks it up. It's a pair of wind up teeth that bite Data's fingers.
While trying to shake them off, Picard finds B-4's head. He picks it up and walks to Data who pulls of his hand, grabs the teeth with his other hand and pulls them off. Data puts his hand back in and looks at B-4. B-4 makes some random mumbling and then goes "WAAAH!". Picard and Data run back to the car with Worf slowly stroking the gun. When he sees Picard get in, he looks butch and faces away.
Picard begins driving away when the natives attack.

Game mode: Drive to safety or shoot at the natives. Avoid/Shoot turrets along the path. 7 model pieces can be gained from this part. Drive through the green markers.

Cinematic: Data (with B-4's head bouncing up and down on his lap) controls the shuttle to the edge of a cliff. Picard drives as hard as he can. Worf clutches to the gun. The car flies through the air. Slow-mo. Picard is going :o, Data is  while Worf is screaming (once again) like a girl. The car flies into the shuttle. While still in the car, B-4's head bites on to Picard's arm, who is trying to shake him off. Data presses some buttons.

The Argo shuttle while being fired at spins around and goes upwards. Fade Away...

End of Chapter One!

I'm guessing y'all itching to here Chapter Two then?

Chapter Two

Cinematic: Bridge. Riker is in the Captains chair, sprawled across the arms. Troi is in her chair, legs crossed, shaking her head. Picard comes out the turbolift and Riker flies from his seat, straight up. Worf tip toes to his console. Picard sits down in his seat.
Camera angle changes. Close up of Picard. Wiggles his hand and "mmm"s **Lego version of "Set course, jib jab jib jib, warp 4** Picard puts his hand down and Riker falls from the roof into his own chair. Picard looks at him. Riker shrugs.
Change scene. The Enterprise enters warp. Fades away...

Fades back. Enterprise drops out of warp. The camera moves to face Romulus.
Everyone on the bridge goes wide-eyed and "ooh". Then everyone continues working except for Riker. Picard slaps Riker. A button on Picard's chair goes bright red. Picard looks at it and scratches his chin. He puts a hand over his eyes, looks away and presses the button.
Cuts to Geordi: In Engineering. It is focused on him but you can make out 2 figures sitting back-to-back on chairs. He "mmm"'s and waves his arms around.
Cuts to Picard: Picard uncovers his eyes, smiles (like this :D except no teeth) and grabs Riker by the shoulder and drags him to the turbolift.

More will come.

I imagined they would have exhausted all the Star Wars. Apart from the Clone Wars film but I imagine that being a large download than a game.

But still, we can only hope.

**Continuing**

Picard (still dragging Riker by the shoulder) walks into engineering. The 2 figures are Data and a fully assembled B-4. Geordi has a very large plug, already connected to Data. In slow mo, he moves the plug to B-4. Picard stars smiling eagerly. Riker is open mouthed. Geordi plugs them in. Normal speed. Nothing happens. Then B-4 blurts out the William Tell Overture. Sparks fly. Lights flicker. Silence. Data rather boringly goes "transfer complete". Everyone runs to B-4 as Data unplugs himself. They all look at B-4. He sits there. He then sees Riker, points, and laughs.

Now I have to rewatch Nemesis! :P

I think at first it was just like, could there be? And then I've been coming up with these ideas which I like :D. And Kori likes them too.
