I would push the nacelles down and give them an enterprise J look. Then we'd have another Future Tense ship.

He's attempting to make it look like this, featured in Ships of the Line.

you should stretch the nacelles out a bit, they are actually the same as the ones on the Enterprise J
Doug Drexler did a couple of blog posts about the ship on his website, http://drexfiles.wordpress.com/

Wow, I want that Gorn ship. That's one of the biggest races that I miss from the TOS. Yeah the Feds were enemies with the Klingons and Romulans, but the Gorn started it all.

the gorn ship started off as a fed/vulcan/Romulan mix but she grown in size and power.
here is the 1st draft of the read me for the ship
The Gorn battle ship is big, around 2400m. due to the size of the Gorn (ie an average height of approximately two meters) and is the the main type of ship used by the Gorn Confederation.
Gorn Confederation is a powerful empire located coreward of the Romulan Star Empire, also bordering the United Federation of Planets and the Interstellar Concordium. It comprises three genetically related races, each from a neighbouring star system, knows as Ghdar I, Ghdar II and Ghdar III.
History
The Gorn had contact with the Orion Syndicate as early as 2154 and from that day they still use them to steal technology. To outfit there ships thats why this battle ship has mulitpul technology
During the Dominion War the Gorn were allies of the Cardassians and the Dominion, and fought against the other Alpha Quadrant powers.

Here is an update to the Gorn ship.  The pulse phasers have been replaced with pulse cannons and several more lateral facing cannons have been added to give this ship a devestating barrage capability.

Ooh, I like   :P

So a Gorn Dreadnought, a Battleship and a Cruiser... Nice! (Hm, maybe I play a bit too much EVE Online... at least I didn't say Titan...)
Did you know I'm on Twitter?

I can't help but think that they look like an X-303 with a Vulcan warp drive. Awesome!
"To live on as we have is to leave behind joy, and love, and companionship, because we know it to be transitory, of the moment. We know it will turn to ash. Only those whose lives are brief can imagine that love is eternal. You should embrace that remarkable illusion. It may be the greatest gift your race has ever received."

I was thinking that the medium one was a Vulcan ship...

Real neat design though!

These are nice, I hope they're balanced towards the TOS though, I downloaded a few ships and they're way too powerful for standards. Cause I never heard anything of the Gorn past TOS.

I really like the Gorn ship, the only thing i think that you should change is the colour of the windows, i think if you went for the normal white look it would help give the ship more depth.

The TOS Gorn has already been well established and redone several times so these ships are intended to be balanced for post-Nemesis  as a Gorn "Resurgence".  I think we need a new but familiar enemy that is formidable due to the Klingons members of the Federation for some time now, the Dominion?s but being kicked, the Romulans opening diplomatic relations after the events of Nemesis, the Cardassians basically a bunch of wimps and the Borg licking their wounds. However, opinions are welcome.

[offtopic]You know, you could use the Fen Domar mentioned in Endgame.  Not even the Borg killed any of Voyager's bridge crew and not that many crewmen.  For example, if Voyager did continue on its course rather than take the transwarp tunnel, they would have met the Fen Domar in battle.  Voyager obviously survived if Janeway got back to Earth, so they must have won.  Well, here's the timeline I envisioned.

If Janeway didn't go back in time-
-Voyager runs into the Fen Domar.  They deal a crippling blow, but lose some crew in the process.
-Because Voyager did this, the Fen Domar are set back significantly (possibly a planetary battle in which the leader of the Fen Domar government is killed, or releasing slaves almost solely supporting the economy.)
-Voyager makes it home, and the Fen Domar are unable to trace them back to Earth because they have their own problems to deal with.

Because Janeway intervened-
-The Fen Domar prosper without the encounter with Voyager.
-They spread like a plague.
-They reach the Federation and wreak havoc.

So now you have an excuse to make a new enemy for the Federation.[/offtopic]

Can't wait to see what you do with the Gorn, fellas! :)

Very curious, I quite like it! :)
