1984 poly BUT I've got a lot of cleaning on it still to be done, so I'm quite happy with it. if I do need to lower it I can edit the sensor array and the shuttle bay I just can't belive how HARD it was when I finally clicked it took me like 5 Seconds lol. i will say thought i've not attached the sensor array or the shuttle bay yet due to the fact i have gone bit high with the detail on her lol

I'm not sure about the Dish...something seems a bit off...Come to think about it, I think it's the size...I think it's slightly bigger in diameter on the Cage varient.  Smack me if I'm wrong!

Looks like you've got the shape of the upper saucer, the impulse engine, and deflector housing down nicely!

As for the rest of it, it's good for a start, but if you're going for accuracy, you'll want to redo the deflector dish, bridge, underside of the saucer, and nacelle grills.  I'd also add polys to the nacelle pylons to give the edges a more rounded appearance.  Oh, and you forgot the three extrusions on the bottom of the nacelles, behind the bussard collectors.

I'd be happy to give you tips and reference images if you like.  Just send me a message on WLM.  Again, good start.

In my opinion, you'd wanna remove the rings on the underside of the saucer, due to reference pic from The Cage

Ehhh, the ends of the nacelles seem a little bit off, and if you're doing The Cage version first, the deflector's too small.  Also, I'd smooth up the bridge a little bit.  Still a nice piece of work though.

UPDATE

ok bad news, I might have to lose some detail on her as she's hit 11k she still needs cleaning and welding together but I can't see that saving me 2k maybe 1k tops. but none the less this is a HUGE improvement on the last few pics I showed

The new Impulse area - as pointed out to me by erwtng so thanks very much

new nacelles more CAGE cannon now (more poly's but worth it)

increased the sensor dish some more, but might have to lose the in groves around the saucer-how do u guys feel about that? it'll run with them, maybe laggy for low-end PCs

Canon is what people argue exists on ships that don't exist.

If I may suggest, add more segments to the saucer to give it a smoother round appearance, and maybe chamfer the edges of the saucer rim also just ever so slightly.

Before you go for accuracy, you must first ask yourself if you want to go for accuracy based on the original tv version, or the newest DVD release version. The new version has more work put into the hull details (Like the "Bomb chute" on the underside of the engineering section). Though it's looking nice indeed!

...Probably not, but the number I get(379.6m) could be considered ?original intent,? a term that I think I will be using from now on, and ?canon? be damned.

This is what I mean. The models are more detailed and the textures are far different, though really, it's up to you whether you wish to go with the old model or the CGI Connie. There should be a boatload of images on memory-alpha.

I could cap a few images for you if you'd like, as I've been using the dvd's for my connie. ;)
